The Norfolk Public School District Board of Education announced the selection of Dr. Jami Jo Thompson as the next superintendent. After a long process facilitated by NASB Superintendent Search involving input from NPS staff, administration, the Chamber, mayor, community groups and others, Dr. Thompson was chosen from a pool of quality candidates. The Board thanked all those involved for their assistance and valuable input in the decision and looks forward to working with Dr. Thompson.

Dr. Jami Jo Thompson has been selected to be the next superintendent for Norfolk Public Schools. We were very pleased with the quality of candidates that applied and after a long and thorough process facilitated by NASB Superintendent Search organization, a final decision was made. Thank you to all that assisted with the process including NPS staff and administration, the Chamber, mayor, community groups and others. They provided valuable input for the decision. We look forward to working with Dr.Thompson and are very excited to get started.
