Independent University, Bangladesh, one of the leading private universities in the country, invites applications for the following faculty positions in the School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences: 1 position Assistant Professor, Development Studies 2 positions Senior Lecturer in Sociology 1 position Senior Lecturer in Media & Communications 1 position Lecturer in Media & Communications 1 position Lecturer in English Assistant Professor, Development Studies
Ph. D in Development Studies or PhD in Anthropology, Economics, Political Science or Sociology with concentration on Development Studies from a reputed university, preferably from North America, Britain or Australia. Minimum CGPA of 3.50 in a scale of 4.00 or First Class at all levels. At least one publication in the relevant field in a refereed journal.

Senior Lecturer
A Masters degree in the relevant field from a reputed university, preferably from North America, Britain or Australia. Minimum CGPA of 3.50 in a scale of 4.00 or First Class at all levels. Three years work experience in undergraduate teaching/ research in the relevant professional field. At least, one publication in the field of specialization in a refereed journal.

Lecturer
A Masters degree in the relevant field from a reputed university, preferably from North America, Britain or Australia. Minimum CGPA of 3.50 in a scale of 4.00 or First Class at all levels.
