Evaluate Clock Design2
Evaluate Clock Design2
Discuss your answers to the questions (on the left) in a clear and concise paragraph. (Minimum 80 words) It was only people in our class who answered the survey, my friends, because I asked them to. 8 people (and counting) have answered my survey. They looked at my clock and played with the drawers then answered the questions I posed to them accordingly. I put a survey about it on a page we share on edmodo then straped them to a chair and held a knife to their throat as they answered. The overall response to our clock was that it was very well made and original, with a cool design. Most people said that if they saw it in a shop window they would buy it.
B. Self-testing Discuss your answers to the questions in a clear and concise paragraph. (Minimum 80 words) I am actually very proud of my clock and I think its one of high quality (considering). My design specification wasnt the one used because we went with Kellys design but then I added many of my own ideas to it and modified it. Using Kellys modified design as the model, it almost completely satisfies me. My audience agreed with me entirely, the only thing that we could have worked on was the rushed paint job on the drawers. BOOM.
B. Self-testing 1. Use the same survey form to evaluate the product yourself. 2. Do you think that your product minimally, mostly or completely satisfy your Design Specification? Explain. 3. Compare your own evaluation with the evaluation of your audience. What are the strong and weak points of your product?
C. Final Product vs. Original Design 1. Did you follow your plan and chosen design? How does the final product compare with your
C. Final Product vs. Original Design Discuss your answers to the questions in a clear and concise paragraph. (Minimum 80 words) The final product looks nothing like my original design because like I said before we used Kellys design and then I modified it. But I think the final product is better than the original design. Again the product looks absolutely nothing like my design, we changed everything. We used plastic cardboard, a Stanley knife, hot glue gun, match boxes, capulana and sautering wire. We had to make these changes because we thought the clock would look much better that way.
D. Improving your product Discuss your answers to the questions in a clear and concise paragraph. (Minimum 80 words) If I were to do it again, I wouldnt change anything except I would take longer with the painting, make sure it looks good. Thats it, theres no way I can stretch that into 80 words.
D. Improving your product 1. What aspects in the design will you change to improve the product? 2. Describe the materials,
original design? 2. What changes did you make from your original design? What materials, tools, techniques and other resources did you use to make these changes? 3. Why did you have to make these changes in your final product? 4. Did your product effectively address or solve the problem it was intended for? Why or why not? 5. Do you think your product is successful? Why or why not?
It wasnt intended to solve a problem, it was intended to hold things in the drawers such as earrings which it does. I think my product is very successful thank you very much. You know, you ask a lot of questions which are basically rephrasings of each other.
Id like to refer you back to my previous statement regarding the high amount of similar questions you pose; You know, you ask a lot of questions which are basically rephrasings of each other.

E. Impact of My Product Discuss your answers to the questions in a clear and concise paragraph. (Minimum 80 words) My product can benefit life, individuals, communities, society and the environment by holding earrings in the drawers. Because you know otherwise people might lose their earrings. Yes you can sell it, for full profit (but then again you can also sell a lock of Robert Pattinsons hair for full profit). It can be an issue to the world if it ends up in a rubbish bin and the in a landfill. Otherwise it is safe to use. You can solve this issue by recycling the clock if it breaks.
