TOURISM FACTS Over 53,000 more tourists visited the country in 2012 than in 2011. Nepal welcomed close to 600,000 tourists in 2012, a 10 % increase over the number for 2011. Positive speculation indicates that the number of incoming tourists will continue to grow for 2013.
