Exercise 2

The document discusses a hospital considering replacing its old, inefficient X-ray machine with a new digital X-ray machine. The new machine would provide higher quality X-rays faster and at a lower cost, but require less power. It would also use color laser printing. Meanwhile, the laboratory department wants funds for a new DNA analyzer instead. A table then classifies various costs as differential, opportunity, or sunk costs regarding replacing the X-ray machine.
