Inverse Hyperbolic Function

Inverse hyperbolic functions such as inverse hyperbolic cosine (cosh-1) and inverse hyperbolic sine (sinh-1) are defined similarly to inverse trigonometric functions. The inverse hyperbolic cosine of x is defined as the logarithm of x plus the square root of x^2 - 1. For the inverse hyperbolic cosine formula to be valid, x must be greater than 1. There are also restrictions on inverse hyperbolic tangent that are recalled from previous lessons.
