Diane Arbus

She was born on March the 14 1923 and died July 26 1971. She was born in New York and Died in New York. Her husband was a teacher of photography. He taught her when they got married. She started in the fashion and advertisement business with her husband. They became a very successful team. As her life was a challenge near the end. She divorced Allan Arbus in 1969. Later in her life she struggled with depression and committed suicide in her own apartment. Michael cook

This picture reminds me of people that were in imprisoned

and had plastic bags on their head. It also reminds me Ku Klux Klan. It actually is kids playing around in the woods but she has made it appear really freaky. Use you key words to try to work Because of the costumes they are out how she made this image wearing and the way they are successful standing. Also because of the unusual composition, which places them in the top 2/3 of the picture and the bottom, part is all ground.

I like this picture because it reminds me of different kinds of levels, which make the picture more outstanding. I like how she puts a tall person into a small persons home to show the different kinds of height, which make the scale different. I think that she took two pictures one with the man at his normal size and then enlarged using a tool or something. The second picture is two people at their normal height made smaller. The pictures get merged together to make this.

She had a quote, which she must have said a lot of times A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you the less you know. Say why you like this quote I like this quote as it gets me thinking about what it means and the more I think about it the more I dont understand it. This picture looks like that she is a magician or a sacrifice to something. The way that she is dressed stands out from the clothes that people use to wear around those times. The way that she wears the white to stand out from the black makes it a contrasting picture. The picture looks like she is a Christian who wants to join Jesus on the cross. Good start. Talk about the religious imagery used here too I like how she does her pictures in the way that gets people inspired with her work. I would like to follow in her footsteps as she inspires me to take photos. Michael cook
C- A good start with this but you have not tried to retake any of her images so I cannot mark you higher and your writing was of C+ quality
