Elbit Systems Electro-Optics Elop Ltd. (Elop), a subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., was selected by Boeing to supply the HUDs for the T-38C Avionics Upgrade Program. Elop designed and developed a technically advanced, state-of-the-art HUD and Up Front Control Panel (UFCP) for the T-38C currently flying with the U.S. Air Force and other major air forces. The UFCP has provisions for a high resolution Color Cockpit TV Sensor (CCTVS) for post flight debriefing and back seat repeater. The Model 921 HUD is capable of displaying high brightness cursive (stroke) symbology with an optional Raster with or without stroke symbology overlaid. The 921 HUD is very reliable, lightweight and compatible with T-6B, T-45, MiG-21, MiG-27, T-63, KO-1, F-5, Mirage, IAR-99, ALX, AMX and other small to midsize cockpit aircraft and trainers.
