Subject: Information of New Auto Transmission & Tcu Models: Musso & Korando With Btra Auto Transmission Condition

The transmission and TCU models for the Musso and Korando vehicles were changed to improve fuel efficiency and shift quality. Specifically, the high pressure pump cover was modified to increase lock-up capacity for gears 3 and 4. The converter torque was decreased from 160K to 150K for some engines. The band apply regulator valve and TCU program were also altered to enhance shifting performance, especially for gears 1 and 2. Technicians are cautioned that the old and new transmission and TCU parts are not interchangeable and must be replaced as a set.

Do not use together. : the new auto transmission must be applied with the new TCU. - If using the old and new parts together, shift shock will be occurred. - In case of the auto transmission, you can't distinguish between old and new parts with the naked eye.
