K-5 Colors are seen when light waves are reflected into everything around us.
Color wheels show us primary, secondary, and tertiary colors
Forms are shapes that have connected to create three-dimensional shapes.
Forms have height, width, and thickness. Lines are the most basic element of art. A line is a path of a dot through space. Lines show the distance between a point to the next When a line or more meets another line to enclosed an area, a shape is formed.
Shapes are 2-dimensional and flat
Geometric shapes are squares, circles, hexagons etc. Biomorphic shapes are leaves, puddles, shapes found in nature
Space describes the areas of and around an artwork. includes the background, foreground, and middle ground.

Texture refers to the roughness or smoothness of a surface Can be a real tactile, like sandpaper, or an illusion that looks soft but isnt Value refers to the lightness of darkness of a color; The appearance of lights and darks found in a work of art.
