Student selection form reflections on a sample piece of work

Name of assignment/task: preuve crite: Phase 4
Brief summary of the task:
Within this task we were supposed to write a letter in response to our friend and another was
an article talking about life in school.
This piece of work was selected to illustrate the following ATL and/or Learner Profile attributes
This piece was selected to illustrate my Thinking skills.
Why this piece of work is a good example of the above because
This piece of work was a good example of the above because I really thought about how I was
supposed to write a letter back. I really spent a lot of time thinking on things that would be
appropriate to say while writing this letter because it was an informal letter to a friend. I
demonstrated thinking skills when coming up with things to talk about during my letter in
response to my friend.
What can/will I do differently next time?
Although I completed my letter successfully, I was only able to do the 1 letter in the whole time
period given. There was another writing piece that I was supposed to do but I couldnt get to the
second one as I ran out of time. So something that I would definitely do different next time would
be to manage my time a lot better

What are my goals for improving this particular criterion (you should apply the SMART goal strategy
here).
To improve in this particular criterion my goal is to practice more French and to use language
perfect more.
a) in the immediate future (1 week)? (goals for the next week)
Work more on language perfect.
b) in the short term (1 month)? (goals for the next month)
Look over French notes after class, and practice verbs before an assessment task.
c)in the long term (until the end of the semester)? (goals for the next semester)
My long term goal for this semester would be to just general keep using language perfect to gradually
increase my vocabulary.
