Priyanka Teli's credit card was hacked on June 7th, resulting in 8 online transactions totaling Rs. 22,900 even though she had physical possession of the card. When she reported the fraudulent activity to ICICI Bank, they refused to lodge a complaint stating the card could not have been hacked since it had a 3D pin number and she must have disclosed her information. She requests that the cyber cell investigate the matter and help reverse the fraudulent transactions, as she has been a regular customer for over a year and always pays her bills on time.

Dear Sir / Madam,
This is to bring to your notice that my, the undersigned Ms. Priyanka Telis credit card has been hacked
on the 7
th
June between 4:18pm to 4:23pm & within 5 minutes there were 8 online transactions made
worth Rs. 22900/-. This has been done in spite of Card physically being with me at that very moment.
As soon as I received the alert I contacted the ICICI bank call center and also went online and got my
card blocked.
I also tried to make them lodge a complaint against this but they bluntly refused stating that since I have
a 3D pin number it cannot be hacked and I must have given out the information to someone.
I would like to inform you that I have not disclosed any information regarding my credit card to anyone I
am very disappointed in this kind of answer from ICICI call center.
I have been regular card user since last 1 year & have made my Credit card bill payments before due
date every time.
Request you to kindly Investigate in this matter and help reverse the fraud transactions made.
