Receiver Module Parameters

The document describes the specifications of a receiver and transmitter module pair used in a solar car. The receiver module operates at 315MHz with a sensitivity of -105dB and dimensions of 30x14x7mm. The transmitter module has a range of 20-200m, operates at 315MHz with 10mW power, and connects to an Arduino board via its data, power, and ground pins. Two Arduino boards are used, one connected to each module, to transmit a stop signal from a button press on one board to the other to stop the solar car.

2. Operating voltage: DC5V
3. Quiescent Current: 4mA
4. Receiving frequency:315Mhz
5. Receiver sensitivity:-105DB
6. Size: 30 * 14 * 7mm

Technical parameters of the transmitter module

1. Product Model: MX-FS-03V

2. Launch distance :20-200 meters (different voltage, different results)
3. Operating voltage :3.5-12V
4. Dimensions: 19 * 19mm
5. Operating mode: AM
6. Transfer rate: 4KB / S
7. Transmitting power: 10mW
8. Transmitting frequency: 315Mhz
9. An external antenna: 25cm ordinary multi-core or single-core line
10. Pinout from left right: (DATA; VCC; GND)

Microcontroller used: Arduino UNO

Receiver and Transmitter modules are connected separately to two Arduino boards. The
transmitter data pin is connected to Pin 12 of Arduino and the receiver data pin is connected
to Pin 11 of Arduino.

Arduino connected to the transmitter will be programmed such that when a key or a button
is press then a signal is generated at the transmitter end. This signal is then transmitted to
the receiver. Antenna present at the receiver end will detect this signal and passed it to the
arduino board present inside the solar car. After that arduino will processed this signal
according to programme burned in it and will generate the signal which will stop the solar
car.
