The Basic Operation Digital Camera
You need:
1. A digital camera
2. An object (a friend/classmate or something interesting, you can find around the classroom or school yard)
Follow the steps below to take picture:
1. Hold up the camera and centre the object in the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)
2. More closer or use the zoom control for the result you want.
3. When you are ready to take the picture, hold the shutter half way. It is very important, so the camera sets
the focus, shutter speed, and various other calculations.
4. A light should appear that let you know the camera is set to go.
5. Press shutter all the way down. It may be necessary to turn off the LCD and used the view finder when
there is more extreme sunlight to conserve battery. Glare from the LCD does not work well with more
bright light.

How to Make Kolak
Ingredients:
500 gr sweet potatoes
2 cups thick coconut milk
90 gr brown sugar
Pinch of salt
2 cups water
Utensils:
Cutting board, pot, and knife.
Cooking methods:
1. Peel and wash sweet potatoes and cut them into small squares.
2. Boil in 2 cups of water for 10 minutes
3. In other saucepan, simmer the coconut milk with a pinch of salt and the brown sugar, stir and be careful
that the coconut milk does not quite come to the boil.

4. When the sugar is dissolved, put in the sweet potatoes and continue to simmer for about 10 to15 minutes,
until potatoes are cooked.
5. Serve hot.
How to Make Apple Juice
Ingredients:

2 green apples, wash and chop


Fresh orange juice from 2 big oranges
1 small piece of ginger
Sugar ( as much as you require)
Pinch of salt (optional)

Directions:
1. Add the chopped apples, sugar, ginger, and about 6-7 ice cubes to a blender.
2. Blend on a medium setting until the apples are smoothly blended and no chunks appear.
3. Add the orange juice and salt.
4. Blend it for 5 to 10 seconds.
5. Pour the mixture into glasses.
