Advertisement for SRF and Project Assistant

Applications on plain paper with complete bio-data along with photocopies of candidate’s
professional and academic certificates are invited for one post of SRF (Senior Research Fellow)
and one post of Project Assistant to work in the DST sponsored research project on
“Development of adsorbents for CO2 capture from flue gases” in the Department of Chemical
Engineering, Thapar University, Patiala for a period of 3 years.

Position Essential qualifications


Senior Research Fellow, SRF (Engg.) First Class M.Tech. (Chemical Engg./
Rs. 14,000/- + HRA + medical allowance Environmental Engg.)
Project Assistant First Class M.Sc (Chemistry/Environmental
Rs. 6000/- consolidated with non-medical B.Sc.)

The fellowship is for a period of three years and co-terminus with the duration of the project.
Further, there is a possibility for the candidate to register for Ph.D. at the University.
