Designed for IBM Business Partners, this Quick Reference Guide will show you how to Accept an Incentive Offering,
Create a Marketing Activity Request, and Submit a Claim to take advantage of IBM Co-Marketing.

Accessing the IBM Co-Marketing Center (CMC)

Participating in Co-Marketing

1. Access the IBM Co-Marketing Center at:

2. Select the IBM Co-Marketing Center, then select


Continue. You will be redirected to the IBM CoMarketing Center powered by IQense.
Navigating the Co-Marketing Center Home Page

Participating in co-marketing with IBM is a 3-step


process:
Step 1: Accept the Incentive Offering (IO)
Step 2: Create a Marketing Activity Request (MAR)
Step 3: Submit a claim
Step 1: Accept the Incentive Offering (IO)
The Primary Relationship Contact (PRC) or their
delegate can accept the IO by selecting the Accept
an Incentive Offering quick link, or by using the
available menu options.

Main Task Bar You can mouse over the titles on


the main task bar across the top to reveal the
available menu options.

Choose an Incentive Offering from the drop down list


and select the Show Details button to review the
details of the program.
Next, review and accept the Terms & Conditions by
selecting the link. Check the box indicating that you
agree and select the Submit button.
Note: Your Incentive Offering may allow a co-marketing
agency to submit a MAR on your behalf.

Note: Your Incentive Offering may allow an IBMer to


submit a MAR on your behalf.

Step 2: Create a Marketing Activity Request:


Select the Submit a Marketing Request quick
link, or use the available menu options.

Complete the Marketing Activity Request and
either Save as Draft or Submit.

Entering Leads
As part of the claiming process, Business Partners are
required to provide leads for most programs. To enter
your leads directly into the Global Partner Portal go to:

If you do not have access to GPP already, complete


the registration form found at: https://www304.ibm.com/partnerworld/wps/servlet/mem/Conten
tHandler/gpp_com_stl_oppmgmt

If you have completed the GPP registration form but


have not received access, contact your IBM
representative and they will provide directions to
have your leads entered on your behalf.

To edit a draft MAR, select Edit & Submit an


Existing Draft from the Marketing Activity menu.
Or, select the Submit a Marketing Activity
Request quick link and then Select a Draft MAR
on the right side of the screen. Make your edits
then select Submit at the bottom of the screen.
You will receive an e-mail from the Co-Marketing
Center informing you that IBM received your
Marketing Activity Request.
Once IBM approves your MAR, you will receive
your approval via e-mail and you are ready to run
your campaign!
Step 3: Submit a claim
Once you have completed your campaign or activity it
is time to claim your funds from IBM.
1. Select Submit a Claim quick link or use the
available menu options.

2. Complete the Claim Submission Form, upload
your documentation and click the Submit
button.
Note: You can save the Claim Submission Form as a
draft so that you can add your documentation as you
go instead of waiting until the end of your campaign.

Frequently Asked Questions


Q. Who can accept and sign up for an Incentive
Offering?
A. The firms Primary Relationship Contact (PRC) in
IBMs PartnerWorld Profile System (PPS) or their
delegate in the CMC tool.
Q. How can I see my Terms & Conditions?
A. You can find a link to the Terms & Conditions on the
Incentive Offering Sign Up screen, on the Marketing
Activity Request screen and on the Claims
Submission screen.
Q. Who can submit a Marketing Activity Request
(MAR)?
A. Each offering is set up uniquely. Some offerings
allow Business Partners, co-marketing agencies
and/or IBMers to submit a MAR.
Q. Who can submit a claim?
A. If the MAR was submitted by a co-marketing agency,
the agency will submit the claim. If a BP or an IBMer
submitted the MAR, the BP must submit the claim.
Q. How long do I have to submit a claim?
A. Per the Terms & Conditions, you have 60 days from
the end of your activity to submit your claim
documentation and leads, if leads are required.
Q. How do I know if my Incentive Offering requires
leads?
A. The Incentive Offering Detail will identify if leads are
required.
