committed its entire reserve to the Minsk-Smolensk-Moscow axis. Stavka realized that losing
this region would result in losing the war. They expected the Wehrmacht to pursue this before
autumn, realizing the Battle of Smolensk was critical would determine if an offensive against
Moscow could continue.

Star Fleet Battles is a game based on the original Star Trek TV series. Each turn players must
choose how to allocate their ship resources for offense, defense and movement. Each turn
becomes a tactical game of maneuver trying to find the best distance and angle for attack.
Tonight an asteroid has been found with a vast number of dilithium crystals. The player who can
collect the most and make it off the map will win. Is it better to take the money and run or stick
around in hopes of bigger rewards? Can you cut a deal with other players and if so how will you
know if they will keep their word? Or will it just be a slug-fest with the last person standing
collecting the spoils?

A sunny day, April 12th 1945. Lieutenant Arno Giesen's Panther (97 kills) and five Mark 4 tanks
were sent over a bridgehead to the south bank to buy time to reinforce the north side. Bringing
supplies to the nearest village the little force plunged into a fierce firefight. Arno scored 14 more
kills that day and returned that night over the bridge whereupon it was blown. Not many
followed him out. Be Arno and repeat your victory.

In German East Africa (modern Tanzania) Arab traders and slavers who had lived there for
centuries resented the interference of the German colonial administration and in 1888 rose up in
rebellion led by Abushiri ibn Salim al-Harthi.. Having resisted attacks on their trading stations
the Germans are counterattacking Abushiri's capital at Jahazi with a mixed force of Sudanese and
Ngoni Askiri, Seebataillion marines and Ruga-ruga African tribal mercenaries. The Arabs have
built palisades protecting the city and hired fierce Belukha mercenaries to help defend it. The
Germans must pit their superior training and weaponry attacking the poorly armed, poorly
trained but entrenched enemy
