Metric Conversions Ladder Method

The document describes the "ladder method" for converting between metric units. It involves: 1) Determining the starting point unit; 2) Counting the number of "jumps" to the desired unit on the metric system ladder chart; 3) Moving the decimal point the same number of jumps in the same direction to convert between units. Several examples of conversions between grams, kilograms, meters, centimeters, liters and milliliters are provided to illustrate using this method. Comparisons of quantities in different units are also given as practice.
