In a growing and improv- ing organization such as CAP, all publications are in a constant state of growth, improvement, and change. Commanders should note changes in referenced materials as they occur. Staff mem- bers should provide commanders with information regarding changes in publications relevant to their staff responsibilities. This guide is intended to provide each CAP commander with selected information concerning CAP and a format for record- ing data and information pertinent to that unit, whether it is a region, wing, group, or squadron; senior, cadet, or composite. This pamphlet may be carried at all times when file records and reference materials are not always readily available. Staff per- sonnel are also encouraged to use this pamphlet.
