Dip Tank Solution Preparation Success Story

Overview:Dip mixing section is one of the important stages of fabric making for tyre industry. It is the sequence of process in which controlled chemical reaction take place which carried out in a closed tank and at constant temperature. For execution and automization of this project, we have not only provided the complete auto mixing control but also replaced the old Phillips controller which was running on manual control. Following Solution Has Been Provided: PC based SCADA implemented for Existing and New system Dip mixing machine. Existing controls were from Phillips based Batch Controller. Automatic chemical weighment and controlled feeding. Automatic transfer and discharging of chemical. Manual and Automatic Temperature control provision. Auto, Semi Auto and Manual control. Recipe and Report Management Software

Installed Controlled System Offers Following Advantages: One of the most important benefits provided by this controlling is that work done by hand is now replaced by PLC which led to reduction of man power. Our system installation is based on Siemens hardware, which is rugged and provides flexibility and ease in maintenance of system. Salient feature of this system was replacement of existing Phillips batch Controller with enhanced functionality PLC based system. All weighment and temperature are controlled to ensure accuracy in such a way which provides less deviation from set points. Fail safe arrangement has been provided to reduce the production loss and down time. Advance sequence mixing has been provided by the use of recipe based module over to provide flexibility and accurate mixing as per demand of compound without any aberration. One of the main features provided is online editing of recipe set points to avoid any production loss and happenings. Continuous monitoring and Logging of all process parameters on is provided in the form archives and reports. Unlimited number of recipe creation and revision storage has been provided. 24 hour web support is provided for solving and troubleshooting issues and problem of system to provide flawless solution. Assures highest level of safety in the mixer. It provides everyone with complete information of the status of the weighing, discharging and mixing of the process.
