ASAP Methodology

SAP Project Roadmap has five phases: 1. Project Preparation 2. Business Blueprint 3. Realization 4. Final Preparation 5. Go Live and Support

Phase 1: Project Preparation


During this phase the team goes through initial planning and preparation for SAP project

Phase 2: Business Blueprint


The purpose of this phase is to achieve a common understanding of how the company intends to run SAP to support their business.

Phase 3: Realization
The purpose of this phase is to implement all the business process requirements based on the Business Blueprint.

In this phase we need two resources to develop training manuals and presentations templates and get the sign off for this task. Also the resources can prepare lists of all business processes that will be converted into training materials for each module. Finally get approval from the concerned people. Estimated duration: 7-10 working days

Phase 4: Final Preparation


The purpose of this phase is to complete the final preparation (including testing, end user training, system management, and cutover activities) to finalize your readiness to go live.

Tasks included during this phase are: 1. Preparing datasheets for all modules (10 working days) 2. Testing all business processes unit testing (10 working days) 3. Developing training materials and presentations (25 working days) 4. Training delivery (55 working days) In this phase we need four six resources.

Phase 5: Go-Live and Support


The purpose of this phase is to move from a project-oriented, pre-production environment to live production operation.

During this phase the client may ask for additional training sessions, number of resources depends on the requirements.
