STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I, Asawari Shrikant Phadnis,was bron on 30th November 1991. I have completed my primary education up to 10th standard in Marathi medium. My interest in Engineering developed during highschool years,when I started realizing the impact of Mechanical Engineering on daily lives of people in India. I decided to become a Mechanical Engineering, when I passed 10th standard first class with distinction. Huge number of challenges, thrown out by rapid development in science and technology, has made me choose engineering profession. I take this opportunity to describe my educational background and career objectives that motivated me to pursue a design and manufacturing career in Mechanical Engineering. I completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. My undergraduate education has provided through exposure to the various specialties available in Mechanical Engineering, thus stimulating interest in advanced research as well as manufacturing. Mechanical Engineering to me is combining physical science and mathematics. Even through the basic principle of mechanics, as converting any motion into useful work output for any design requirement. It has served as the foundation of various advanced field like Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and many more.

In my undergraduate years, I have acquired a strong background in fundamentals of the basic Mechanical Engineering subjects like Manufacturing Process, Machine Tool, Theory Of Machines, Industrial Fluid Power, Metrology and Quality Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Design Of Machines Elements, Power Engineering etc. I have also had an introduction to specialization areas like CAD/CAM. Fluid Mechanics and Industrial Fluid Power has captivated my interest during my undergraduate study and in relation to that I had also completed final year project namely Accumulator Test Rig in workshop at Dynamic Hydraulics in Shiroli M.I.D.C. As part project member I also had an opportunity to visit various industries in the field project and also had an interaction with the various vendors of the organization. I also participated in technical project exhibition named as New Tech Pro for the project steero crane, made by my group. British education with inputs from associated industries provides expansion of faculties of the mind. With variety of courses and comprehensive set of electives your course structure is very appealing. Your University an ideal place for aspiring students like me. I always wanted to be a part of an institution like yours, which has faculty comprising of eminent scholars of international repute and provides a stimulating education environment
