Lets give a warm welcome to our new Student Advocate in Hardee County, Meg Hackney Moore. Meg was raised in Wauchula and graduated from HHS in 2007. She attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers, FL, following high school graduation. She graduated cum laude from FGCU in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Education. Meg married Daniel Moore in 2010 and they have a daughter, Harper Kate, who was born in October of 2011. Meg is excited to be working for such an inspirational program!

Take Stock in Children will be announcing a date for a Mentor training for current mentors and prospective mentors in February. If you are currently mentoring a student, or would like more information please plan to attend. We will be serving dinner, so bring your appetite and a prospective mentor.
