Who is the programme for? As a recent graduate, you have less than one year of full-time postgraduate corporate work experience or have spent less than two years in a non-traditional business role although you may have undertaken a number of internships whilst studying. You may have an eclectic array of hobbies, or have excelled in or have an interest in nontraditional business subjects, and your undergraduate degree can be from any study discipline. Our current and previous classes have included, amongst others, graduates from engineering, languages, mathematics, history and economics. You may also have excelled in non-academic areas such as sports or the arts, or shown your leadership potential in community activities. You are a dynamic, open-minded individual who thrives on putting new ideas into practice. Open to learning about new ways of doing things, you enjoy collaborating with a diverse and challenging peer group and are happy to share your own experiences. Financial Accounting Provides an understanding of the financial reporting process, with particular emphasis on compiling and interpreting financial statements. Management Analysis and Systems An introduction to the five topics essential to effective management of enterprises: information management and business modelling, optimisation models, managerial statistics, decision analysis, and simulation modelling and analysis. Leadership in Organisations Designed to enhance your personal and leadership skills, focusing on the social science of organisations, and managing your career and company successfully. Career Skills Programme Commencing prior to your arrival on the programme and continuing through to graduation, specific modules focus on the individual career skills that you will need to stand out in a competitive job market. These include writing a winning CV and cover letter. Personal Development Programme Delivered across all three terms, workshops focus on developing the essential skills needed in the workplace, including business communication, presentations, Microsoft Office programmes, networking and creative thinking.
TERM 2
The Global Macroeconomy This course explores the fundamental concepts of macroeconomics for open economies. You focus on current world economic issues and the practical implications of real world data, and undertake your own data analysis. Finance Develop a solid grounding in the principles and practice of financial management. Emphasising a technical approach, topics covered include fixed income, options, forwards and futures, stock return statistics, portfolio theory, capital asset pricing model, project appraisal methods and effective investment decisions, leverage and value, the opportunity cost of capital and valuing companies. Marketing Learn the practical tools required for entry-level marketing, consulting and analyst positions. Perform customer analysis through simulation, and integrate your insights into a marketing plan. Business Immersion Week Broaden your business experience through company visits where speakers explore a range of issues such as company culture, leadership challenges, economic influences and their relationships to the broader business community.
TERM 3
Applied Microeconomics Analysing real world problems, this course explores the basic concepts of microeconomics for use in business settings, including supply and demand, fixed cost, marginal cost, average cost, opportunity cost, profit maximisation, expected utility, incentives and game theory. Strategic Analysis This course focuses primarily on technical strategic analysis. Undertake an in-depth analysis of an industry structure, learn the pros and cons of different strategic positions and make a diagnosis of the sources of competitive advantage. Introduction to Management Accounting While management accounting concepts are typically used by more senior managers in companies, this shorter course provides you with a flavour of management accounting to aid your future development and assist you when interviewing for jobs. Entrepreneurial Management Identify and pursue opportunities upon which entrepreneurial ventures may be built. This course brings together all the knowledge you have gained on the programme by showcasing a venture or product developed in the classroom at a trade show. Global Immersion Field Trips Network with peers and faculty from other leading business schools, engage with local business leaders, broaden your cultural experiences, build your business knowledge of a particular market, and deepen your classroom learning.

Interview If selected, you will be interviewed by a member of the Admissions Committee, or by an alumnus / alumna of London Business School. The interview is predominantly competency based and will take approximately 60 minutes.
