Language Notes:
1. A wh- question asks for information.
2. The wh- word + is can form a contraction:

The correct word order for wh- questions is wh- word + do / does / dont / doesnt
+ subject + base form of verb + complement + ?

Language Notes:
1. In formal writing, we put the prepositions before a question word. In
conversation, we usually put the preposition at the end of the question:
Formal: On what floor do you live?
Informal: What floor do you live on?
2. We use whom after a preposition. We often use who when the preposition
is at the end:
Formal: With whom do you live?
Informal: Who do you live with?

Language Notes:
1. We use ever in a yes / no question when we want an answer that has a
frequency word.
2. In a short answer, the frequency word comes between the subject and the
verb.
