Patentability Report
Inventive features deduced from the subjected IDF: Single pedal hydraulic press simultaneous double braking with: o static brake o rotary brake coupler system Planetary gear train without clutch device Search strings majorly used: Planetary gear train ANDNOT clutch single pedal hydraulic press AND Double Braking AND Static Brake single pedal hydraulic press AND Double Braking AND rotary brake single pedal hydraulic press AND Double Braking AND coupler system The Patentability search has been done in the websites of the following patent offices in: USPTO EPO IPO Databases used: Free patents online Sumo Patent Patent Office search services of USPTO, EPO & IPO
FINDINGS:
The first inventive feature though not have any relevant patent literature available, nonpatent literature searches showed that this is not a unique combination that cannot be fore seen by the person skilled in the art. In analogous art searches prior arts of similar applicability in different fields, e.g.: bicycles, motors etc. Though the first inventive feature seemed obvious from the attached non- patent literature, the second feature has prominent references in the following prior arts:
1. US Patent number: 60822681 Filing date: 12 Jan 1998 2. US Patent number: 83601812 Filing date: February 9, 2012 Summary: Its a patent for hybrid vehicle with an automatic manual transmission system. The independent claim of this patent is of concern for the patentability requirement. When both these prior art has been taken in reference in each other, particularly the independent claim of the second prior art and the sufficient disclosures from the written description the first prior art does suggests a description that is provided in the IDF. But none of the prior arts, i.e. patent literature or non- patent literature3 does anywhere suggests the utility, application or advantages of such features. Hence though the disclosure from the IDF does shows some obvious components in the subject but still the possibility of getting a patent is of high probability as the closest found prior art has just been granted in 2013.
