1. Introduction:
This report is prepared as a summary of the Organizational visit to Nepal Telecom for the fulfillment of course requirement to Management Information System offered on BBA program at Peoples campus affiliated under Tribhuwan University. During our visit we consulted to the IT Directorate of NTC in order to gather the required information for the preparation of report The main purpose of our visit was to analyze the management information system(MIS) of NTC and prepare report for academic purpose. For this, we gathered necessary information by using observation method and interviewing with employees of NTC.

1.1Study Background:
The purpose of this project is to synchronize the knowledge gained during class hours, and practical aspect. We visited the organization to explore all minute of the Information system being used in the organization. We visited the organization to analyze the MIS and fulfill the requirements as per demanded by our syllabus.

1.2Objective:
Simply, visiting to the business organization is not only, our main goal to complete the assignment but also to analyze the Management Information System (MIS) of NTC, and prepare a report. However, objectives of this project can be specifically stated. Some of them are enlisted below: i. To mobilize and analyze all the resources, Information and data of the NTC. ii. To study all the materials as per asked by the report format. iii. To analyze the current network of the NTC. iv. To get highly qualified knowledge and Information system. v. To learn how the Management Information System is maintained in the Organization. vi. To synchronize the theoretical aspect with practical knowledge. vii. To collect the necessary data related to network, design of MIS at NTC.

1.3Scope of the Project: 1.4Limitation of the project:


The following are the limitations of our study: a) The study has been undertaken to meet the partial fulfillment of the requirement as the part of our study at the campus and is purely for academic purposes. Thus, naturally it has been constricted by the time. Some of the terms that were included in the interview were too technical and beyond our existing knowledge. most of information has not been disclosed by them to us due to internal security and data privacy purpose and finally, their business ethics.

2. METHODOLOGIES:
Generally, methodology refers to the process of collecting, analyzising the relevant and necessary facts, figure or information for making any kinds of report, research or other else purposes. As matter of fact, we applied following sources of

data, and tools to extract the relevant information from IT Directorate of NTC in order to finalize our project.

2.1 Data collection procedures:


We used two source of data to collect the information. Those are:

a) Primary sources:
The primary source of data is the interview with concerned officials of IT Directorate itself. Not only this, we even visited different departments and met the employees to collect the necessary data.

b) Secondary sources:
The secondary sources of data were the brochures and website of NTC. Through this official websites, we collect, read the blogs to enhance our understanding level. Even, we consulted with my calling, which was quite useful to broaden our understanding, and knowledge level.

2.2 Tools used for Analysis:


Apart from this, we uses following tools for analysis of data. Such tools are: i. Questionnarie ii. Observation iii. Expert Advice
