PUBLIC INFORMATION NOTICE FEBRUARY 3, 2014 CITY OF CLEVELAND ROADWAY REHABILITATION FROM RIDGE RD. TO DENISON BRIDGE OVER SR 176 & UNDERGROUND 138KV TRANSMISSION CIRCUIT INTERSTRUCTURE Denison Avenue Reconstruction Project Work on Denison Begins Monday, February 3, 2014 This traffic advisory will remain in place until October 2014 Expect additional traffic notices as work progresses
CLEVELAND This Project will reconstruct 2.7 miles of Denison Avenue between Ridge Road and State Route 176, and along West 62nd Street from Denison Avenue to Barberton Avenue. The project will include the installation of a Cleveland Public Power underground power line ductbank, and associated utility relocations, pavement reconstruction and resurfacing, curb, sidewalk and driveway repairs. The construction cost is $9,068,852.93. Construction on W 62nd has already started and will continue. Work on Denison will begin Monday, February 3, 2014, weather permitting. Work on Denison includes the installation of a new duct bank, water work and drainage as well as pavement repair & resurfacing. One westbound lane of traffic will be maintained along the north side of Denison from Fulton to West 65th St. Eastbound Denison traffic approaching West 65th Street will be detoured. Cars eastbound on Denison will be required to detour north on West 65th to eastbound Clark, to southbound Fulton & back to eastbound Denison. Trucks eastbound on Denison will be required to detour North on West 65th to eastbound Lorain, to southbound West 53rd to eastbound Clark to southbound Fulton & back to eastbound Denison. This phase of construction is anticipated to be complete in ten (10) months at which point the roadway between will be reopened to normal traffic patterns. This Project is scheduled for completion by December 2015.
