Lead a small team of other workers and coordinated scheduling with fellow Senior TSOs. Assisted members with accessing and troubleshooting various web browsers and systems. Communicated goals and areas of improvement to small team of employees. Checked a spreadsheet and analyzed calls to make sure standards were being kept when creating and logging tickets. Logged several dozen tickets a day which has helped my proficiency with typing and additionally with attention to detail. Had weekly meeting with managers to discuss areas of improvement and how to keep moral up within the office. Assistant Estimator Kenner, LA Cycle Construction Co., LLC May 2010 - August 2010 Assisted with estimating large and small scale construction jobs all over Louisiana. Evaluated specifications and project plans for several jobs and entered bid items and other data into the computer using Heavy Bid. Used a Digitizer and estimated various quantities of different material used on jobs. Used the Digitizer to obtain the area of three dimensional spaces from a two dimensional drawing. Utilized the Digitizer to obtain the spot elevations to obtain the difference between the proposed and existing conditions in the land to obtain the loose cubic yards of dirt that would either have to be added or removed to match the specifications and plans. Managed phones in order to call subcontractors and procure a quote for specific materials. Provided detailed information about the job to the subcontractor. Calculated quantities of loose cubic yards of dirt that had to be removed for various sizes and lengths of pipe, and all
of the other materials needed in order to correctly install the pipe into the trench, and then fill it with backfill. Calculated quantities and materials for various drainage and sewer structures and the materials needed to place them in their intended locations. Assisted with the filing and labeling of various bids and contracts, as well as moving them to the store room and putting them in the correct order.
