Step One Identifying Your Users
The first step in our migration strategy is to identify PTC Mathcad users and their roles. We have three primary roles: Power User, Casual User and Reviewer: A Power User is any PTC Mathcad user who typically spends more than 50% of their time creating their own worksheets and templates for others to use Most PTC Mathcad users are Casual Users. They use existing worksheets, create their own repository of personal sheets and use PTC Mathcad 10%25% of their time A Reviewer is typically a project manager or a line manager who does not normally author calculations but may want to try a few what-if scenarios or audit calculations and then sign off on the calculations, design documents or anything relevant to the project
