Tuning A Double French Horn

To tune a double French horn: 1. Push the tuning slides all the way in and tune the open Bb side notes, then pull the F side tuning slide to tune those notes as the Bb side will remain sharp. 2. Release the change valve to switch to the F side and tune the open notes by adjusting the F tuning slide. 3. Tune the valve slides, starting with the Bb side and then the F side, after the open tones are in tune on both sides.
