Conference objectives

For more than 30 years this event has brought together specialists from
universities and industries all over the world to promote the exchange of
knowledge, ideas and information on the latest developments and applied
technologies in the dynamics of rotating machinery.
The objective of the conference is to provide high quality research and
professional interactions for the advancement of science, technology and
international cooperation.
The IFToMM International Conference on Rotor Dynamics has been organized
in the past in Rome (1982), Tokyo (1986), Lyon (1990), Chicago (1994), Darmstadt
(1998), Sydney (2002), Vienna (2006) and recently Seoul (2010).

Call for Papers
An abstract of 400 words or less in English should be submitted via
the conference website before March 1, 2014 on PDF format. For
detailed information on the submission procedure please refer to the
conference website: www.iftomm2014.it
Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings available
on PDF format at the beginning of the conference.
The ofcial language of the event will be English.

Venue
The 9th International Conference on Rotor Dynamics 2014 is afliated
with IFToMM and hosted by Politecnico di Milano: a leading research
institute located in the city of design, new technologies, art and
fashion, now preparing to host Expo 2015.
Along with technical tours focusing on the conference topics, guest
tours will be organized to give participants the opportunity to discover
Milan and its beautiful surroundings, dense of natural resources and
cultural heritage.
