Deeuss - :R!Il-$-Ui-K: Now You See It, Now You Don'Ti

Two Iranian Air Force F-4 Phantom crews reported encounters with unidentified flying objects (UFOs) over Tehran, Iran in late 1976. The first crew observed a bright object 70 miles away that interfered with their aircraft's systems as they approached. The second crew pursued two UFOs, one of which approached their aircraft rapidly before they lost weapon systems. Both crews experienced interference and had difficulty landing afterward. An investigation of the landing site found an area with an unusually strong signal.

;fJII Sometime in his caree r , each pilot can expect to encounter
strange, unusual .happenings which willnever be adequately or .
entirely explained by logic or subsequent investigation. The follow-
ing article recounts just such an episode_ as reported by two F-4
Phantom crews of the Imperial Iranian Air Force dur ingLate 1976.
No additional information or explanation of the strange events has'
been fortbc'orrring ; the story will be filed away and probably for-"
gotten, but it makes interesting, and possibly disturbing, reading.
