The development and modification of significant health habits (e.g., smoking, weight control, and exercise) will be examined. The relationship between personality, stress and illness will be highlighted. Psychological and social factors involved in etiology and treatment of major health problems (e.g., heart disease, cancer, and AIDS) will be examined. The emerging field of Psychoneuroimmunology will be introduced.
