Intestinal amebiasis, Amebic liver abscess, Bacterial vaginosis, PID, Prevention of post-op contamination -hypersensitive to drug -history of blood dyscrasia, CNS disorder or retinal/visual field changes -with hepatic disease or alcoholism Headache, seizures, vertigo, ataxia, syncope, flattened t- wave, stomatitis, dry mouth, constipation, URTI 1.Intruct to take medication 1-2hrs before meals 2. Instruct in proper hygiene 3. Avoid alcohol and alcohol containing drugs while on tx 4.
