COMMUNITY SERVICE 2015
May this letter reach you in the grace of Allah S.W.T.
This is to inform your good self that Mahallah Representative Committee (MRC) in
collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Dean of Residential Management and
Discipline(RMD) of Centre for Foundation Studies, International Islamic University
Malaysia will be conducting a Local Community Service Programme named R.E.T.R.O15
which it stands for Refreshing The Roh (Soul) programme. The details are as follows:

Target participants : 30 students of Centre for Foundation Studies International
Islamic University Malaysia
300 students of the secondary and primary school

Among the objectives of the programme are to instil Islamic values to be applied in their life
after finishing school and to inculcate the spirit of learning among the students especially to

primary school students. Moreover, the other purpose of this programme is to uphold
inspiration of the university which is to be the torch bearer for the ummah by creating a
strong bond between CFSIIUM Community and students there. At the same time, we can also
acknowledge that IIUM is providing students with an Islamic environment not only for
studying but also to lead a life according to Quran and Sunnah.
Our team has planned to have a Donation Campaign, focusing on all departments, Mahallah
Offices in CFSIIUM and outside sources. This campaign is crucial to seek contributions to
meet our estimated budget of RM8, 926 for this programme. We would like to conduct this
donation campaign throughout Semester 2, session 2014/2015. Therefore, it is a privilege if
you could give some donation to our programme.
Your contribution is very meaningful to us in order to ensure the smooth running of the
