ABSTRACT
In this study, the main objective is to find the best thrift bank branch location
in Davao City. The decision criteria is consisted with seven factors, namely;
demography, socio-economy, accessibility, investment and banking criteria,
parking space availability ,sector employment (MSEs) ,and trade potentials. The
criteria are weighted based on the journals that are motivated on determining the
significance of each criterion in selecting the most suitable location for a thrift
bank. Survey questionnaires were also distributed around the areas candidate to
be chosen to obtain information from the people who are the main users of the
thrift bank. Using the weights obtained from the methodologies mentioned earlier,
locations can be simultaneously compared to find out the best location for a bank
branch in Davao City. Given the findings of the study, it is recommended that the
site in Brgy. Buhangin be chosen as the thrift bank location.
