201 Music Arrangement

This document outlines the grading criteria for a music arranging unit. To receive a distinction, learners must demonstrate excellent arranging abilities across musical features, condensing arrangements to piano, using accurate notation, and self-assessment. For a merit, learners show good arranging skills, ability to condense to piano, clear notation use, and understanding of strengths and weaknesses. To pass, learners display basic abilities in arranging, piano condensing, notation use, and understanding of progress. An unclassified result means demonstrating little arranging skill, poor piano condensing, incorrect notation, and no understanding of personal progress.
