Analysis and Product Description

This document proposes creating a toy car model out of scrap materials that is powered by air from a balloon. The car model would be an educational toy for children and decorative item. INTRODUCTION:

World being running out of resources needs maximum recycling of our waste
product. Using very simple and common household items we can make
decoration models etc which not only brings out our hidden creativity but
also is economical .The idea behind our model is based on the same concept.
Inspired by our own field we decided to create a car model made out of scrap
in different shapes, sizes and styles. The perk of this model is that it is driven
by the thrust of air coming out of a balloon. It can make a nice and
interesting toy for a child and a unique kind of decoration piece.

DESCRIPTION
I.

COMPONENTS:

The required components are as follows:

Plastic bottles
Glue
Transparent tape
Bottle caps
Air balloons
Broom sticks
Straws
Card board
Hammer
Nail
Scissor

MATERIAL AVAILABILITY:

As mentioned, all the material required for making car model is easily
available all the time.

STEPS FOR PREPARATION:


Tape a balloon over one side of a straw so that you can blow from the
other end
Take four bottle caps and make holes in the centre of each cap with the
help of hammer and nail
Take two broom sticks and pass them through the two bottle caps each
to make axle and tyre mechanism
Now join the axles at the base of plastic bottle using transparent tape.

Create a hole on the top of bottle and pass through the straw with the
balloon on the other side of it

Use cardboard and disposable glass to decorate the model.

IV.

PRODUCT LIFE:
Since it is made of plastic bottle, the possibility of damage to the car
model is considerably less. If used with care, it can sustain through larger
time compared with that of glass ones purchased from markets.

V.

TIME FACTOR:
Approximately time required to make one car model is 30 minutes.
