Narrative Report
(In-Campus Teaching)
As semester ends, we fourth year students prepared for the next battle
in second semester on the job training. Time comes that our theories of learning
must put into practice and this realization started on November 24, 2015 at Roman
C. Villalon Memorial Colleges Foundation, Inc. Elementary department.
First day of duty there is big adjustment. We must prepare ourselves
physically, emotionally, and intellectually. We need to be punctual to go to school
we should wake up early. Facing different behavior of pupils/ diverse pupils and
must show our confidence in teaching and make a good functional lesson plan.
Show our cooperating teacher our best to be an effective teacher.
I hold preschool in my first shifting six K-I pupils where 3 boys and 3
girls, in K-II there are four pupils were 2 boys and 2 girls under the advisory of
Ms. Jennifer C. Baday. At first, they are shy to us but the day pass they are sweet,
respectful and loving. I thought I dont love teaching but time goes I love to teach
them. I like them because they are eager to learn very interesting and curious.
Theyre curiosity challenge us to teach well and fill their minds and hearts with
good values and equipped with knowledge and ideas in their level of ability and
capacity of learning.
So far, my lesson plan and demonstration is improving each day. Im
glad that my energetic and dynamic cooperating teacher impressed my teaching. I
received very good comments and feedbacks. Despite of pressures, sleepless
nights, burning my midnight candle to make lesson plan and instructional materials
at the end of the day I felt achievement. All my sacrifices are worthy and go home
with fulfillment.
This time also we started structuring our assignment classroom that
serves our project at the end of the year. It enhances our skills in beautification and
creating the room conducive to learning.
In commemoration of town fiesta honoring St. Mary we celebrate the
feast of Immaculate Conception last December 08, 2014. In that connection, our
school participated band and bugle parade together with the pupils, teachers and
student-teachers. Also, from different schools, Dep Ed Teachers & Staff, LGU and
other different organizations.
Second week of the month of December is their reading of honors. We
Student-teachers prepare this program. We train them in their intermission number
to be present every grade level. The achievers gladly received their certificates
with their proud parents watching them.
The most memorable time of this shifting is the celebration of Christmas party in
which we exchange presents/gifts to our pupils and co student- teachers. Children
enjoy the party much. We end this year a fruitful one and excited for the vacation.
Welcome back 2015! A year of new beginning and new challenges.
This coming back started our second shifting. My next assignment is Grade-I under
the advisory of Mrs. Doris N. Pajo. They are 13 pupils in the class were 9 boys and
4 girls.
This section is more challenging than before. Their behavior differ,
some are hyperactive. Dealing these pupils I need to be patient and understanding.
We must impose effective classroom management.
At this time we experience to make a test paper questionnaire depend
on the subject we assigned. Time run so fast, the day comes to our last in-campus
teaching. But before that we bid goodbye to our pupils and teachers for imparting
their knowledge and being part of this journey. We exchange messages, letters,
flowers and gifts. For us, its already half away to our challenge in our on the job
training and one more to go our off-campus.

the behavior differ from the cream class. In this section I encountered hardheaded
pupils. I must be patient enough it is really a challenge to me in handling this class.
I tried my best to manage them well. I find a little bit difficulties but still this is
part of our exposure.
Even though how hard to handle them but I gain more lesson. Time
goes on to be with them I already adjust and I felt comfortable they are respectful. I
love them they eager to learn. They are kind and thoughtful. During my last time to
be with them they send their letters of appreciation and thanksgiving.
I have the same cooperating teachers but my head cooperating teacher
now is Mrs. Edna T. Magdayo. She is very kind and loving one time they invite us
to have lunch with them. Im lucky to have them as my cooperating teachers I
learned a lot from them.
