There is error alerting built in, but is still in the initial stages of configuration and as a result does not catch everything. This checklist should be completed daily at least until the team has confidence in the alerting from PI.

IntegrationEngine:

1)SXMB_MONI(IntegrationEngine:Monitoring)MonitorforProcessedXMLMessagescheckforanyerrors
thatmayhavehappenedsincethepreviouscheckwascompleted(putting48hoursshouldensurethis).

2)SMQ1(qRFCMonitor(OutboundQueue))checktoseeifthereareanyqueuesstuck.Anindicatorofthis
wouldbeseeingmultipleentriesinaqueue.Ideally,youwouldseeNothingselected.

3)SMQ2(qRFCMonitor(InboundQueue))sameastheoutboundqueue.

4)SM58(TransactionalRFC)FilltheUserNamefieldwith*andexecute.IdeallyyouwouldseeNothingwas
selected.Ifnot,tryrefreshingtoseeifthingsareprocessing.
5)SXMB_MONI_BPE:checkforfailedprocessesunder
a.RestartProcessAfterError:.ifanyprocessfoundanalyzeandrestartasapplicable
b.RestartProcessAfterSystemCrash:Checkforanyprocessfailed,theseprocessesarerestartable,restartsuch
aprocess

Wheneverthereisapplicationshutdown,backgroundjobsinECCwillbestopped.
Forexample,ifitisIDOCtoFileScenario,Messages/IDocwillnotfollowthroughPI.You
willnotseeanymessagesinPIsystem.Aftertheoutage,allthemessageswillprocess
successfully.

Yes.Youareright.MessagewillnotreachtoPIduringoutage.However,message
/IdocmaytriggerfromECCsystemandwillnotreachtoPIduetooutage.
Therefore,itwillbeagoodideatocheckSM58andSXI_MONITORofECC
systemforanyunplannedoutage.
