Activity 1: Warm up activity short discussion on health
Aims: - to motivate SS and get them interested in the topic
Procedure:

SS are asked by the T on the importance of health in their lives


T writes on the blackboard the word HEALTH and asks SS to say
words or phrases that they know and that are related to health
T adds some other words/phrases linked to the word given and
that havent been given
SS write the words in their notebooks

Activity 2: Use of Vocabulary - Discussion on healthy/unhealthy life
Aims: - to get SS speak about the subject using the related vocabulary, practicing
the grammar

SS are asked by the T what they consider as being a healthy or

Aims:
to get SS identify ideas /problems that teenagers are confronted

- To express solutions for the presented problem in the article, to

Procedure: - SS are divided into 3 groups and are given 3 different articles. After
reading them (in
silence), SS from different groups will be mixed up and grouped into
pairs. Each SS
needs to tell the new partner about the articles they have just read
(the problems presented there) and try to find out what would be the
solutions that the partner would offer.
- Some SS will tell the whole class the solutions of the problems

Activity 4: Expressing opinion, making recommendations, agreeing &
disagreeing
Aims: - to use in a correct manner the words and phrases given on the handouts
in order to express
opinion, recommendation, agreement/disagreement

using the given phrases, and offer recommendation

Procedure: - the SS will be assigned to write an e-mail to a friend to offer him/her
