TurboClean Collectors

Standard Features

TurboCleanTM collectors provide trouble-free vacuum


system collection for a wide variety of materials.
Reverse pulse jets from compressed air continuously
clean the TurboClean cartridge filters. Pulse frequency
and duration can be controlled manually or activated
by a pressure sensor and timer. TurboCleans standard
polyester DuraPleat filter elements are rated at 99.9%
efficiency @ 10 micron levels. Special PTFE coatings
are available for sub-micron, hazardous, toxic, oily or
hygroscopic materials.

All models include tube-type inlet and outlet


connections (other types are available.) The heavy
gauge, continuous welded shell is rated for high
vacuum and has a side access door to the cartridges.
An additional clean side access door has just been
added. The discharge has a slide gate discharge
valve, 55-gallon drum lid and drum lid coupling. The
PulseClean system consists of one-inch diaphragm
valves, compressed air tank, filter, regulator, pressure
gauge, NEMA 4 pulse timing controls and a Magnehelic
differential pressure gauge.

Velocity Deceleration Chamber


The inlet expansion chamber with an internal abrasion
resistant impingement plate maintains the proper
entrance velocities ensuring product separation and
low updraft velocities. This results in longer filter life
and optimum performance.

Quality Construction
The rigid structural steel support frame is anchored
securely and straddles a 55-gallon drum (not included.)
The controls are weather-tight allowing the TurboClean
to be located outdoors. Available options include
stainless steel construction, special coatings, discharge
options, explosion vents, explosion isolation, extended
sidewalls, photohelic gauges and others.
