CHILDLESS:: Barren (Sterile) signs: 1 (Mesha), 3 (Mithun), 5 (Simha) and 6 (Thula) of


Zodiac Signs; The following conditions are to be studied in Male and (to be matched)
Female charts:- If (in spite of modern attitudes and methods) they wish to have child,
under following conditions in birth chart, a native is likely to be childless: 1. If the fifth
or eleventh house be tenant the barren signs; 2. If the owner of either of these houses is
not in a fruitful (2,4,7,8,9,10,11 and 12 of Zodiac) ; 3 The Moon is not located in a
fruitful sign; 4. The Lagna is not planted in a fruitful sign; 5. Jupiter, the Karaka for
children is afflicted by malefic planets or by a powerful Maraka for the Lagna; 6. The
fifth house or its owner is weak and badly afflicted; 7. The owner of fifth house from
Lagna parked in 6th,8th, or 12th house from Lgna and in an inimical sign, there will be
difficulty in having children; 8. When the 1st and 5th houses and Jupiter are weak the
native may be childless. The issue must be examined in totality and no hasty decisions
should be arrived at with above. It is also known that: a. The Lord of Lagna and
Mercury occupy either the 4th, 7th, or 10th house parked together; b. Mars in Lagna,
Sun n fifth and Saturn in eighth; c. If the 5th, 8th, and 12th houses are occupied with
Malefic; d. If malefic unaspected by benefics occupy the 8th house from the Moon; e. If
Venus occupies the 7th house, the Moon, the 10th house, and malefic planet occupy the
4th house.
