We have an immediate opportunity with a large F500 client in the Dallas, TX area.
We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer to work with one of our major clients in
Dallas, TX. Please go through the details and let us know.
Senior ETL Developer
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior ETL Developer designs and develops internal ETL processes and
applications to enable data migration and lifecycle management in support of business
systems/applications, system interfaces, databases, reporting, or business intelligence
systems to deliver new systems functionality for key global digital products and
capabilities at client. The Developer leads moderately complex projects, often
mentoring and providing guidance to other team members, and will work under the
guidance of a Software Development Manager on complex projects.
REPONSIBILIITES
Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical
specifications.
Build and unit test production deployment packages and implementation plans for
scheduled system enhancements.
Facilitate/lead reviews of technical specifications and program code with other
members of the technical team, communicating design, requirements, feature set,
functionality and limitations of systems/applications to team and development lead.
Analyzing complex data systems and document data elements, data flow,
relationships and dependencies in order to contribute to conceptual, logical and
physical data models.
Designing, developing and maintaining database schema and objects.
Developing and maintaining ETL scripts to stage data from transactional system and
populate cubes for multi-dimensional data analysis and reporting.
Developing standard/ad-hoc reports using database reporting tools and integration
with SharePoint.
Creating technical documentation and performing knowledge transfer with team
members
Implementing best practices in database design and coding using SQL.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in a computer-related field (computer science/programming).
6-8 years of application development experience
5+ years of experience in data analysis and integration.
7+ years of expert level knowledge in relational databases, primarily Oracle
7+ years of extensive experience writing SQL scripts, PL/SQL stored procedures,
functions, triggers and user defined functions.
Experience in ETL tool such as Informatica , Data Services is preferred.
Familiarity with columnar database technologies and hierarchical data access

mechanism.
Experience working in an agile environment preferred
Exposure to data integration, analytical and reporting tools.
Experience in data migration
