In InfoPackage you can select which hierarchy should be loaded from R/3 (Hierarc

hy selection tab). If you don't see your hierarchy on the list press button "Ava
ilable hierarchies from OLTP".
It's also possible (if required) to change hierarchy name after loading from R/3
(also Hierarchy selection tab).

There are standard Datasource for Cost Center

0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER
Extract the Hierarchy and Run the Report on a Data Target using this hierarchy

Please check in R/3 whether DS 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER is available.

If not activate it form Busness Conten.
Then do the ?famliar? steps in BW like replicating DS, Assigning IS and so on.
Hope this helps
Go to transaction RSH1, enter 0costcentre infoobject and you can manually create
the datasource.

You can manually add the values using an interval. You need to enable that in RS
D1.
Check to be sure you are not trying to post to a balance sheet account. Cost cen
ters can only post to P&L accounts.
In the cost center master data tab control check that the actual primary costs i
n not checked to block postings.
Also, if you are using validations make sure they are not blocking the posting.
I have checked there are not validation and actual primary cost is not checked.
Only "actual and plan revenues are checked
For error message " Your error message ZF012 is a custom message which would gen
erally come from validations. Check OB28 for those.

ata from DataSource 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER has been extracted using function modu
le GSBH_HIERARCHY_TRANSFER_SETS. If you edit and save the DataSource by maintain
ing generic extraction, extraction no longer takes place using this function mod

ule, but is performed by a database view, a transparent table, a functional area

of SAP query, or a self-defined extraction module.
If 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER is included in the deliverd SAP Content, you can activa
te extraction using function module GSBH_HIERARCHY_TRANSFER_SETS again by transf
erring this Content with transaction RSA5 or the IMG.

Try using transaction code BW10 in R/3

this will help u create hierarchy data source in R/3
Refresh data sources in BW & load hierarchies from this data source

There is another way for loading an hierarchy. Try transaction RSA2 on the sourc
e system. If the transaction is not available you don't have the right version f
or the plugin.
Then for example have a look at the data source 0COSTELMNT_0102_HIER. There you
can see that you have to use 2 function modules to extract the data. One is to e
xtract the hierarchy (GSBH_HIERARCHY_TRANSFER_SETS). And the other one for the c
atalog. Click on the button Hierarchy-Info. There you can find the function modu
le GSBH_HIERARCHY_CATALOG_SETS for the catalog.
Each hierarchy data source uses the same extract-structure ROHIEROS.
