UCO Bank deals with financial services especially in the area of microfinance to rural areas of West
Bengal. The main objective of the firm is to secure the wealth of people and help them in assessing
the proper management of their valuable wealth. We provide various services to the people of rural
areas like providing assistance to open small saving or current accounts, providing various kinds of
loans in small EMI schemes, arranging gold loan for them etc.

Job Description: -
United Commercial Bank is looking for a dynamic financial manager for core business of
microfinance mostly to the rural areas. The person will be responsible for the establishment and
implementation of micro financial policies within the corporate environment, along with acting in an
advisory capacity. He / She will also be a key point of contact to external auditors and will work
closely with them to ensure policies are acceptable to all of our customers. There will be a team
environment along with a number of other Regional FM's, who have the same remit for other
geographical areas.

Domain Areas of Performance: -


The main areas of performance will be in dealing with rural customers as well as getting new
customers and to work for the exploration of company’s business.
Job Roles & Responsibilities: -
The major roles and responsibilities are as follow

1. Anticipation of funds for various projects.


2. Acquisition of funds from various resources.
3. Allocation and assessment of funds.
4. Preparing the cash flow statement for the branch offices.
5. Gaining a proper leverage in terms of gaining the fund with debts and equity.
6. Maintaining the working capital and term loan for the survival of a particular project.
7. To make decisions regarding the financial feasibility of projects.
8. To ensure the wealth maximization of the shareholder's of the company.
9. Forecasting the organization financial position.
10. Establishing a rapport with the customers to attract business, and assisting customers with
account problems.
11. Regulating special tax laws and regulations that affect their industry.

Various specifications of the job: -

Education Qualification: -

Graduate in any stream from a UGC / DEC / AICTE recognized institute with a two year full time
program in business management completed form any Govt. Recognized institute. The candidates
have taken finance as a specialization will be given preference.

Relevant Experience: -

Five or more years of working experience is required in any relevant financial industry dealing public
oriented business.

Managerial Skills required: -

 The candidate must be compatible enough in working with a target based job.
 Must have the ability to deal with tough customer problems.
 Core analytical skill to distinguish between various projects.
 Strategic planning and implementation.

Selection Procedure: -
