The 4th Annual Criminal Law Conference focused on accommodating victims in the criminal justice system. Over the course of one day, various speakers discussed topics such as victims' experiences during trials, the role of prosecutors, and restorative justice approaches. Research projects on victims' needs and legislation and services for victims were also presented. The conference aimed to explore whether the criminal justice system takes an inclusionary or punitive approach to victims.
