Serbian Past Tense

The document discusses the Serbian past tense (prošlo vreme). The past tense is used to describe actions that happened in the past, whether finished or not. It is formed by combining the present tense of the verb "biti" (to be) with the past participle. The present tense of "biti" provides the person and number, while the past participle is formed by adding endings like "-o", "-la", or "-lo" to the infinitive stem. Examples show conjugating the past tense of the verb "raditi" (to work) according to person, gender, and number.
