Dear Sir,
Wed like to take this opportunity to thank you for Inviting JCE to submit its technical and
financial proposal for the above mentioned project.
We have the pleasure to include herewith JCE proposal for the required services, which
includes; Project understanding, Scope of work, Clarifications and Exclusions along with
financial proposal.
A. TECHNICAL PROPOSAL
1. Project Understanding:
The site is located at Amiri Guard in Barazan camp, The Works shall comprise for Design
and Build of Stable for Administration Building for Amiri Guard Farm at Abufas with total
built up area of an approximately 600 SQM. JCE shall cover the Design and engineering for
the above mentioned project. This shall cover the following disciplines:
Architectural
Structural
Electrical
Mechanical
Telecommunications (Ooreedoo)
2. Deliverables:
The deliverables will be submitted in the format of a Final Design Report and shall include
the following:
Architectural

Site plan including external fencing and showing building coordinates and levels.
Detailed plans drawings of the project elements fully dimensioned, coordinated
with other disciplines.
Detailed elevations, sections, and wall sections to illustrate the relation of different
parts, fully dimensioned with heights and levels.
Openings schedules including doors, windows, elevations and louvers showing
types, opening sizes and materials.
Enlarged plans and sections drawn to a larger suitable scale for the cores and
staircases.
Life Safety Design Report & Sketches.

Structural

Structural plans showing the concrete dimensions for all structural elements.
Reinforcement tables and details for design related structural elements.
The detailed structural partial sections.
Structural connections and relations between different structural parts.
Typical details for structural elements and specifications of construction material
Typical details for reinforcement arrangement and concrete requirements
according to the codes and standards.

Electrical

Power single line diagram related to design elements.


Lighting layouts showing the lighting installations layouts.
Power layouts showing power outlets and the power supply for electrical services.
Outdoor lighting installations.
Fire alarm system
Typical Installations details.

Mechanical

Water supply and drainage if required.


Toilet details shall be shown on detailed drawings if required.
Tank details and associated pumping station.
Standard typical details.
Detailed firefighting plans showing the final coordinated location of firefighting
systems.
Final Air risers for fresh, exhaust and smoke air.
Suggested location of AC split unites with approximate equipment sizes.

3. Clarifications and Exclusions


- This proposal is valid for a period of sixty days (60) days from the date of its submittal, its
acceptance is subject to reaching a mutually agreed-upon contract.
- JCE financial proposal is based on providing the services as stated in the scope of
services. In case of changes or modifications to the scope of services JCE shall change its
fees accordingly.
- This proposal is based on the assumption to receive, at no cost and in a timely manner
from the client, all information, pertinent data and any necessary documents for
providing the services including but not limited to; Topographical survey drawings, Soil
Investigation Report and interface drawings of all the equipment to be supplied and All
related documents and reports.
- Exclusions from JCE Scope of Services:
o HV electrical design.
o Preparation of shop drawings and as-built drawings for all disciplines.
o Topographic survey and reporting.
o Geotechnical Investigation Report
o Bar Bending schedules
o Traffic and Environmental Impact Assessment Study.
o Performance Bond
o Preparation of records, operation, and maintenance manuals.

o Interior Design and Landscape.


o As-built drawings preparation, review or Approval.
o Physical Model and 3D video presentations.
